A perfect country holiday retreat

The hamlet of Mosedale is found close to edge of the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park, nestling at the foot of Carrock Fell at the entrance to the secluded glacial valley of the River Caldew. It is reached by a delightful route along a minor road linking the A66 to the villages of Mungrisdale and Hesket Newmarket.

introducing mosedale

With a backdrop of Carrock Fell and Bowscale Fell on the other side of the valley, Mosedale House self catering cottages are set amidst stunning Lake District scenery.

The stone built main house and former farm buildings are set around a central courtyard and have magnificent views in all directions.

There are two garden areas for guests to enjoy, sit in the summer house in the formal garden and enjoy the majesty of Bowscale Fell or the stunning views of Carrock Fell from the orchard garden.
